HANSA-Maschinenbau

HANSA-Maschinenbau Vertriebs- und Fertigungs-GmbH

HANSA-Maschinenbau Vertriebs- und Fertigungs GmbH is a manufacturer of municipal vehicles and cemetery excavators that is active throughout Europe. The engineering company was founded in the 1950s by August Prüß as a forge, where it began developing all-wheel drive excavators and dumpers in the 1960s.

The first narrow-track vehicles were built in the 70s. At this time, Hinrich Prüß, the son of the company’s founder, and Norbert Palsmeyer were managing partners, running the company until the end of 2013. After a takeover at the end of 2013, the company, which had 115 employees at the time and was now based in Selsingen, was managed by Norbert Palsmeyer and Patrick Palsmeyer as managing partners.

As of 2021, Norbert Palsmeyer sold his shares, with HASPA BGM becoming an additional shareholder of HANSA-Maschinenbau Vertriebs- und Fertigungs GmbH. Since then, Patrick Palsmeyer has managed the operations as managing partner.

In 2023, the company took a further step towards the future and opened additional sites in Feldkirchen-Westerham and Föhren. These sites have made a major contribution to enhancing our service quality. The Föhren site also maintains a team of specialists dedicated to the electrification of our machines and excavators.
